Conflict Bravery™ — The Twelve-Week Workbook

Twelve weeks of practice for the conversations you have been putting off.

Most of us were taught to manage conflict by getting out of its way. This workbook teaches the harder skill: how to stay in the room, how to say the true thing, and how to repair afterward. It is the on-paper form of the work Altagracia Montilla does with leaders, teams, and institutions.

It moves in three phases. Healing Your Relationship to Conflict asks where yours began — the family you grew up in, the arguments you first witnessed, the beliefs you inherited without choosing them. Embodying Conflict Bravery™ builds the daily practice: grounding, affirmation, the Brave Talk Protocol, and how to choose who a conversation belongs with. Conflict Bravery™ and the Institution carries the work into rooms larger than you, where the conflict belongs to a team, a family, or a system.

What is inside

  • Twelve weeks, each with a central question, a practice, and the same three reflection questions. They repeat on purpose — the same question asked in Week Two and again in Week Eleven will not get the same answer, and the distance between those two answers is the work.
  • The five conflict styles — The Bold Advocate, The Brave Collaborator, The Harmony Keeper, The Relationship Builder, and The Bridge Maker — mapped on the energy and relationship grid, so you can name the one you reach for first.
  • The Brave Talk Protocol, laid out step by step.
  • The Knowledge and Care matrix, for deciding how much of each a situation is asking of you.
  • Over four hundred ruled lines to write on, and a full page at the close of every phase for your own story.
  • Three places to put your name to it: at the beginning, at the midpoint, and at the end.

Sixty-one pages, A4, ready to print or to fill in on a screen. It stands on its own, and it is also the companion to the Conflict Bravery™ Masterclass, where this work happens live across four Thursdays.
